SwordSearcher is a powerful program designed to help you study God's Word. SwordSearcher features fast searching, easy browsing, multiple user-created note sets, and several commentaries and study helps. SwordSearcher contains: The King James Bible, Interlinear KJV with Strong's Greek and Hebrew Lexicon, Easton's Bible Dictionary, Matthew Henry's Concise Commentary, Matthew Henry's Exhaustive Commentary, C. Searches are flexible: you may search for all, any, or only one of the words you specify. SwordSearcher can optionally differentiate between lower and upper case, to facilitate searching for "God" instead of "god." Search results are displayed as entire verses with your search words highlighted in the color of your choice. A simple click of the mouse will allow you to open the passage in which the verse appears to allow you to examine the context of the verse. Easy Browsing of the Bible is done with SwordSearcher's Passage Window. Quickly jump to any verse in the Bible and move forward or backward by verse, chapter, or book. You can mark text for copying to the clipboard, or for looking up in the Eastons Bible Dictionary. You have ten different bookmarks you may place anywhere in the Bible. Strong's Greek and Hebrew Lexicon, used with the Interlinear KJV, allows you to examine the definitions of the original Hebrew or Greek words, ultimately giving you a better understanding of the English word. The Todays Proverb function takes you right to your daily proverb reading. In addition to this, you may whish to read Spurgeons Morning and Evening Daily Devotional twice a day. Several Commentaries and Study-Helps are available. You may create personal note sets and write your own commentary and thoughts on each verse. SwordSearcher's environment is customizable. You may change the display fonts and sizes to suite your needs. Passage can be displayed in the classic verse-by-verse mode or in paragraph mode for those who prefer that layout. Italic words can be displayed in italics, or some users may prefer to have them displayed normally or in brackets []. SwordSearcher is Intuitive. It has been extensively tested by Bible students and refined with their needs in mind. It is easy to navigate and use. Hot-keys quickly execute commands and context pop-up menus quickly help you find functions relative to what you are working in. With SwordSearcher, you wont feel as if you cant use it to its fullest. Resources In addition to the time-honored King James Bible, SwordSearcher includes several study-helps and commentaries. It should be noted that God's word is the final authority on all matters. These materials are included because there is valuable insight contained in them, but the reader must keep in mind that the authors are merely men and their writings are susceptible to human error. You will also find differing viewpoints among the various commentaries. All of these materials have been obtained in electronic form from various sources and adapted for use in SwordSearcher. These texts are in the public domain and were either never copyrighted, or their copyrights have expired. No one today can claim exclusive rights to these materials, and you may freely distribute and quote from them. They are included for the edification of the SwordSearcher user.

Strong's Greek and Hebrew Lexicon: Taken from Strong's Exhaustive Concordance, by James Strong, S.T.D., LL.D., 1890. Used with the Interlinear KJV. Albert Barnes' Commentary on the New Testament Version Comparison Note Set: This note set contains nine Bible versions for comparison purposes. This has a note for each verse which contains the comparison text. The versions included are:
Family Bible Notes: 1861, Old and New Testament commentary. The Fourfold Gospel: A Harmony of the Four Gospels, by J. W. McGarvey and Philip Y. Pendleton, 1914. Matthew Henry's Commentary on the Whole Bible: Matthew Henry's exhaustive commentary. This is a much more detailed commentary than Henrys devotional commentary. William Burkitt's Notes on the New Testament: 1807, from the 40th edition. System Requirements: SwordSearcher has modest system requirements.
