Charles F. Baker

Charles F. Baker (1905-1994) was a native of Dallas, TX. He began his spiritual development through the influence of his pastor, Dr. Lewis Sperry Chafer. His was an alumnus Wheaton College and Dallas Theological Seminary.

He was an associate of J. C. O’Hair, of the North Shore Church of Chicago, IL, working with him for several years in broadcasting. He founded the Fundamental Bible Church in Milwaukee, WI, serving as its pastor for 23 years. He also founded the Milwaukee Bible Institute (now Grace Bible College of Grand Rapids, MI) in 1939, serving as its president for 29 years.

He was instrumental in the foundation the Grace Gospel Fellowship, Grace Mission, and Grace Publications, as well as being the editor of two periodicals, the Biblegram, and Truth Magazine.
